We will arrange an unforgettable stay in Northern Ireland for you.
Combine Belfast with a trip to Giants Causeway! Belfast was transformed by the Industrial Revolution, and its grand public buildings give it a vigorous, 19th-century feel. City centre redevelopment in recent years combined with the optimism engendered by the peace process have restaurants, cafes and pubs flourishing with craic to burn. This compact city boasts a massive arts festival, waterfront artworks and the modern Odyssey Complex. Of course, there are still plenty of reminders of the Troubles - feelings run deep. But despite occasional setbacks, there is an atmosphere of determined optimism. The majestic Opera House is worth a visit to see the ballet, opera or a popular theatrical production. Waterfront Hall is the place for rock concerts. There are numerous walks that head out from Belfast Waterfront, a modern development (host to many concerts) alongside the historic shipyard where Titanic was built. Visitors to Belfast Castle can see beautiful gardens with a view over the City, bordered by mosaics of cats. Trouble wondering what its all about ? We recommend the "black cab tour" a two hour taxi tour of the City and suburbs. You will see political murals, hear about the conflicts and feel the passion that ignited hatred between factions. Peace Wall, Castle, University and City Hall, there?s so much to see on this tour. Trouble getting away from city life ? Head for the hills, taking one of many day tours on offer. Folklore of Finn McCool at Giants Causeway, braving the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge and tasting Whiskey at Bushmills Distillery is a great day out. Londonderry and Armagh too, take your pick. Belfast- a great destination for your next Conference, Meeting or Incentive trip abroad! Do you need more information? Please contact doris@wtg.ie
