Floating restaurant and bar opens in Dublin Docklands

The Cill Airne is now open for business! The historic ship has been extensively renovated and will be based along the quayside at North Wall Quay. The ship houses 2 restaurants, The Blue River Bistro and Quay 16. The Blue River Bistro is located in the refurbished deck of Cill Airne with unrivalled views of the waterfront, and will offer casual dining with a capacity of 120. In the New Year, Quay 16, which is located below deck, will offer fine dining for up to 60 guests.

It was announced earlier this year that new Irish legislation enables VAT reclaims on accommodation costs incurred by conference delegates! With effect from 1st of July 2007 a business delegate attending a qualifying conference is entitled to reclaim VAT paid in respect of accommodation costs incurred while attending that conference.
